10 Steps for Aircon Cassette Chemical Wash

Bring it down

Remove the securing hooks to lower the entire unit for a thorough wash.

Take off the cover

Remove the unit’s cover to reach the blower, fan coil, and interior of the cassette unit.

Take off the FCU.

Remove the fan coil unit for a chemical wash, ensuring all loose wires are detached without damaging the wiring.

Chemical Spray FCU

Chemical spray the fan coil unit – make sure that there is a thorough, complete coverage of all parts of the unit.

Cleanse the FCU

After allowing the FCU to sit for 5-10 minutes, proceed with washing. Carefully spray and remove any chemical foam and dirt.

Clean the blower thoroughly

Take out the blower unit and gently rinse it to eliminate all dust. Additionally, vacuum clean it.

Vacuum the FCU.

Once the FCU has dried, vacuum it using an up-down motion to ensure thorough cleaning.

Clean the filters.

Wash and rinse all air filters thoroughly. Ensure to spray and remove any dirt trapped between the filters.

Vacuum the cover.

Vacuum the final part of the unit, which is the cover, ensuring to move horizontally to cover all areas thoroughly.

Reattach the cover.

Reattach the unit, completing the process. Your unit is now thoroughly chemically washed.
